Drink more water.
We can survive for a month with out food but can only survive about four days with out water. Our bodies are made of 70% water and need water for life and functioning.
Water takes part in every function in our body. It is the transporter of nutrients necessary for body functions. It works in digestion, absorption, circulation and excretion. It improves the look of our hair, skin, eyes and muscle tone.Most of us know that we need to try to drink eight glasses of water a day, approximately a half gallon and few of us do.
For optimum benefits experts are now suggesting that we need to increase that guideline to something more like a gallon of water a day!
This can be difficult at first but your habits and your body will adjust. In the beginning you may experience the need to urinate frequently, but after about one week this will subside.
How to make water a way of life...
1. Always have a bottle of water in the car with you. At stop lights it is a perfect chance to top up.
2. Make the habit of drinking 2 glasses of water before you eat any meal.

3. Always drink water while exercising regardless of the what kind of exercise.
4. If you must have hit the fastfood joint on the way home save some money and your health by opting for a cup of water rather then a soda.
5. Fill up a gallon jug everyday and make sure you drink at least ¾ of it by the end of the day.

A good test to know if you are getting enough liquid is the color of your urine. If it is dark yellow, you need more liquid. Your goal is to have urine that is clear and pale in the morning and the evening.

Sip it, guzzle it, hot or cold it doesn't matter- just be sure you drink up!

Question: Can I take too much vitamin C?

Answer: Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that cannot be stored by the body. Any excess will be easily disposed of via the urinary tract. There are alleged reports of high doses of vitamin C causing kidney stones, vitamin B12 destruction, birth defects and iron overload. One of the most complete responses to these claims appeared in the International Journal of Vitamin and Nutrition Research:
Despite contradictory reports the consensus from an extensive literature search is that these adverse health effects are not induced in healthy persons by ingesting large doses of ascorbic acid.
Out of all the alleged clinical contraindications to high doses of vitamin C, the only one, a more common inconvenience, is diarrhea. Taking too much (what ever that amount maybe as it is different for everyone) may cause loose stools.
