Gluten Free and Healthy |
|---|
Holistic medicine practitioners have long identified the potential hazards of gluten and recognize its association with poor digestion and allergic reactions. Mainstream doctors are increasingly acknowledging the benefits of avoiding gluten, as conditions such as Crohn’s disease and Coeliac disease, are being diagnosed. It can be challenging for someone who is trying to design a gluten free diet to be sure that they are getting all the nutrients they need. Especially as malabsorption of food nutrients is often a side effect of gluten sensitivities. This is where choosing a good multi vitamin and mineral can play a key roll. The form and quality are two important factors to consider when choosing a multi. ALL ONE offers 5 gluten free formulas, three of which are also dairy free. The ALL ONE multi formulas are in powder form making them easy to digest and absorb. With no yeast, sweeteners, additives, fillers, or binders the body will not have any non-nutritive ingredients to process or react to.
Gluten 101
Gluten is a unique, complex protein found in wheat, rye and barley. Isolated gluten is sticky and stretches much like chewing gum. In flour, these properties make dough elastic and give bread its chewy texture. However, because of its resilience, gluten can be very difficult to digest. If a person's has a compromised digestive system from such things as stress or illness then it is very likely that the gluten in the food they eat will not be fully digested. Undigested gluten, creates a myriad of problems: It promotes bad intestinal bacteria; it sticks to intestinal walls inhibiting proper absorption of nutrients; it can make the passing of waste material extremely difficult (constipation); and it can be absorbed into the bloodstream, resulting in nasty allergic reactions. In recent years there has also been growing evidence that those who suffer from certain forms of schizophrenia, autism and multiple sclerosis benefit from a gluten free diet, seeing a marked improvement in their symptoms when gluten is removed.
ALL ONE’s multi vitamin and mineral powders are the perfect nutrition staple for anyone trying to follow a low gluten or gluten free diet. The formulas are designed to deliver a balanced, high potency, broad-spectrum nutritional profile, and are combined with pure food bases of the highest quality.

"Up until a year ago I was a very healthy active mother of two. After my second child I slowly lost the baby weight and was on my way to getting my pre baby body and weight back when all of a sudden my energy levels dropped to nothing and I started to lose weight rapidly, nothing seemed to help. I had multiple tests by my doctor but they could not find anything wrong. I was never one to take supplements before but as food did not seem to be doing the trick I needed to do something. A girl in my Pilates class suggested ALL ONE, I had started taking whey protein shakes every day and she thought adding in ALL ONE would be a good way for me to get a multi into my diet. So I started on the Fruit Antioxidant formula and I have to say it has really made a difference, my energy levels are back up and my weight has leveled off. I am still very diligent regarding my food and sleep but I really think the ALL ONE was what helped turn things around. So simple. Thank you for a great product."

Support a Healthy Belief System with Good Mental Habits
Did you know that one of the most important aspects to maintaining a healthy lifestyle is based upon your beliefs and philosophies about your health habits? Beliefs, thoughts and attitudes-- whether in sports, health, exercise or eating patterns-- can make or break a person's ability to follow-through with a task. Focusing on positive thoughts -- such as believing that you have the will power to refuse unhealthy eating or fitness habits -- can boost your ability to reach your objectives faster and maintain them over a long period of time. Since everyone is apt to miss a workout, or give-in to a craving for a tasty, chocolate cake, keep a journal of your successes, rather than fixating on failures. Focus your thoughts, beliefs and attitudes on what you have accomplished and feed yourself a healthy dose of positive self-talk to keep you focused on your objectives and more easily overcome those time-to-time temptations!
