Healthy Tips

May is Osteoporosis prevention month.
Building strong bones is the best defense against osteoporosis, no matter what your age. A healthy lifestyle and a few preventive steps can help keep your bones strong through the years.
• Diet
Getting enough calcium is key to preventing osteoporosis. Adults need 1,000 to 1,200 milligrams a day. On average, women consume less than half the recommended amount of calcium. Making the addition of a calcium supplement good insurance.
Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium, so it's essential that women consume 400 to 800 international units per day. Vitamin D can be obtained from fortified dairy products, egg yolks, saltwater fish and liver.
• Exercise
Weight bearing exercises such as weight lifting, walking, jogging and stair climbing help build and maintain strong bones. If you exercised regularly as a child or teenager, you are more likely to reach peak bone density, but it's never too late to start building strong bones! Aim for three or four 30-minute workouts a week. Be sure to consult your physician before beginning an exercise program.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol
Alcohol can interfere with your body's ability to absorb calcium and smoking depletes bone tissue. If you smoke, talk to your doctor about a smoking cessation program, and drink no more than two alcoholic drinks a day.

Q & A

Question: What kind of calcium is the best to take? I keep hearing about Coral Calcium, is it better?

Answer: Calcium needs to be bioavailable. Meaning, can the body use it? Certain Calcium is more soluble than others. Soluble means capable of being dissolved. Bioavailability is not the same as solubility. Calcium Carbonate is an insoluble Calcium when put into water. Scientists have found that solubility has nothing to do with bioavailability. Once the Calcium enters the blood, it has to be put to use in the body. That's the real key to bioavailability. The scientific results of the body using Calcium is that no matter what Calcium is ingested into the body, once it enters the stomach it becomes Calcium Phosphate in the intestine and only then enters the blood. The bottom line is ALL CALCIUM IS CREATED EQUAL in the bloodstream.

Testimonials

"Dear All-One,
I am writing you today in pure astonishment that your Totally Fiber product is a success.
It truly feels like I've tried every product on the market including seeking out a physician to help me with constipation. I was starting to believe that I would have to accept the fact that nothing was going to work. That I would have to live with the fact that the misery of constipation would be with me daily. It would be nearly weeks before I would have any relief and this issue had nearly stretched for over 10 years now. It nearly ruined my days heading into work with cramps and feeling so miserable and full. I was contemplating heading back to the physician to accept their offer of having a colonoscopy. Thinking that maybe something was terribly wrong.
My sister had introduced me to the ALL ONE Green Phyto Base. I happened to stumble on Totally Fiber. I had nothing to lose. I ordered it. I decided to give the product 8 weeks. After about 7 weeks, the product began to work. It has been 10 weeks now. I'm on a path that I've never experienced. It is working - on a daily basis. I can hardly believe it. I feel so much better inside.
I will continue to use your product and I want to thank you for selling this product. I'm convinced you have the answer."

Best Regards,
Christina
