What the science says about vitamin E:
Vitamin E has been found to be beneficial–The larger body of epidemiological studies has shown benefits from vitamin E.
• A Harvard study of more than 80,000 nurses found a 41% reduction in the risk of heart disease in nurses who had used vitamin E supplements for at least two years.
• A study of almost 40,000 male health professionals found that men who took vitamin E supplements for more than two years experienced a 37% reduced risk of heart disease.
• A National Institute of Aging study in 11,000 elderly persons found that those who used supplements of vitamins C and E had a 53% reduction in mortality from heart disease and a 42% reduction in all-cause mortality, compared to non-users.

Question: My family and I use your excellent product, All One Powder--green phyto base, and have for a long time. I see that this product may have more Vitamin E amounts (400 IU) than is now recommended. Are you looking into lowering the amount of Vitamin E in your future formula? I will continue taking the product, but would like to know if you are going to address this in the future.
Answer: We have researched the recent study from John Hopkins University that you are referring to. A new dosage recommendation has not been established as a result of this study. After careful consideration we will not be lowering our vitamin E in the ALL ONE at this time. The evidence that suggests the beneficial effects of vitamin E currently heavily out weighs this recent study, which was actually a meta-analysis, reanalyzing existing studies using high dosages of vitamin E, studies that had huge variations in protocol and have already been questioned for their statistical significance. A study of this sort is unreliable.
