The ALL ONE "Crash Diet"- Lose the weight with out the "crash".

As bikini weather returns and long awaited summer vacations draw near, we all start to take that long hard look in the mirror to assess what sort of damage the last 9 months has done. And we wonder how do we now remedy it with only weeks before bare skin is exposed. There are many crash diets out there to choose from, some work, some don't unfortunately all are short term and will rarely leave you feeling fit and energized. It has been confirmed that crash diets are not healthy and can often leave you nutritionally depleted and set up for yet more weight gain in the future.
We know this. We read it in all the magazines. We are conscientious about our food, take our supplements (usually) and try to avoid the "bad stuff" (as much as possible). But still a few extra pounds have crept on and that regular bag of Veggie Bootie still seems to appear on your desk each week.
We're not so different here at ALL ONE, so as a result we have put together our own 4-week detox program. It is very simple and quite yummy.
Here is what we suggest:
Six days a week have an ALL ONE Smoothie for breakfast, a normal healthy lunch, and for dinner have another ALL ONE Smoothie.
Day seven is a free day, but one smoothie is still recommended.
Combine this with 45-60 minutes of yoga 3 days a week.
You can make any mixture that suits your fancy but we suggest always including the following ingredients:
1. 1 scoop of ALL ONE powdered supplement of your choice.
2. 1 heaping tablespoon of ALL ONE Totally Fiber Complex.
3. 1 tablespoon of organic, cold pressed flaxseed oil.

Your one meal a day should ideally be taken at lunch but this can be flexible, hey we gotta live! For your one meal of the day try to stick to lean meats such as chicken and fish, serving size about the size of your palm with as many vegetables as you can eat with the exception of potatoes and one serving of whole meal bread (1 piece), rice or pasta (1/2 cup).

We have all been doing the Weight Loss and You Yoga video by Anne Van De Water. It is easy to follow, has multi-levels and takes only 45 minutes. Convenient and effective it fits in with all of our schedules.

With the above plan you can be sure you will be getting all the nutrition your body needs to maintain optimum health and metabolism while still reducing your calorie consumption and toxic load. The increased fiber intake and easy digestibility of nutrients also helps to increase elimination, creating a more efficient digestive process with benefits that will continue far past the initial 4-week period.

It doesn't make sense really. We spend so much time all year round trying to take care of ourselves with good nutrition and supplements and then in one fell swoop vanity leads us into the jaws of malnutrition with crazy "Lamb and Pear" or "Cabbage Soup" Diets. No more. If a crash diet is what you need at least maintain your nutrition with ALL ONE, your body will thank you for it in the end.
